Join Pritchards Bookshop for our Beer & Book Club @ Round Eight for a fun night of good reads, cold brews, and great company!
Whilst anyone is welcome to our events, we are pleased to present the only male-focused book club in the area.

How will it work?
This is the first of our book clubs! We will be meeting on the last Thursday of every month to discuss a book selected by the expert booksellers at Pritchards.
£15 purchase price includes:
- A copy of this month's book
- One free drink at Round Eight (beer, house wine or equivalent)
On arrival at Beer & Book Club, just give us your name and we will give you a copy of this month's book. We are hoping to pair the book and beer on the same theme to make it interesting and take advantage of Round Eight's expertise...
The first meeting will be just to get introduced and get the book (plus have a pint) In the second meeting (September) we can then discuss the book and distribute the next month's book and so on... We will email everyone a reminder of the next book club date a few weeks before.
Feel free to buy tickets for friends or as a gift, all are welcome!
NB: Email confirmation is basically your ticket but we will also have a list of names on the night.

Q: I've already got the book!
A: No worries. You can have a £10 credit in store for Pritchards Bookshop off any other title.
Q: I bought a ticket but I am now sick/away/busy/[insert excuse]
A: You can pick the book up at the shop instead and still claim the free drink next time!
Q: I didn't read last month's book, can I still come?
A: Yes of course, this is meant to be fun, not homework.
Q: I don't drink beer/I am driving etc
A: No worries - we can swap out the beer for a house wine or a soft drink/tea/coffee
